feiko koster (chief curator)

After studying economics at Arizona State University, Feiko Koster returned to the Netherlands and started interior architecture at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, a study closer to the heart. Koster founded the first outlet store in design furniture. After 25 years of working as an interior architect, he listened to the echo of his past and graduated from the Fotoacademie (FOAC) in Amsterdam in 2009. Since then, he has been a photographer with a special interest in portrait photography and has served on several photo committees at home and abroad.

Previously Koster was chief curator of FotoFestival Naarden (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017) together with Eduard Planting. Koster was also external curator of 033Fotostad.

In 2018, Koster became owner of Koster Fine Art Gallery after founder Eduard Planting retired.
