Practical information

Opening times Photo Festival

Monday to Thursday: 11.00 – 17.00
Friday to Sunday & Ascension Day and Pentecost Monday: 10.00 – 18.00

The exhibits can be seen at the following locations: Grote Kerk (indoor and outdoor exhibition), Stadhuiszolder, Vestingmuseum, De Gele Loods, Bastion De Lage Flank, Bastion Oranje, Bastion Nieuw Molen, De Vestingwallen and The Fence. See the map.

The majority of the locations are accessible with a wheelchair. Except for Stadhuiszolder and Bastion De Lage Flank. Please note that a little help is needed sometimes at other locations because the Bastions have many small bumps and flaws in the surface. Please let us know if you find something that isn’t easy for you and your wheelchair.

Ticket sales

You can order your tickets online or buy them at the Festival Office, located at Utrechtse Poort, Ruijsdaelplein in Naarden-Vesting.

How to reach us

Naarden-Vesting is easy to reach by public transport: take the train to NS-station Naarden-Bussum and then take Bus 110 (get out at Westwalstraat in Naarden-Vesting). You can also rent a bike at the station, with which you can reach Naarden -Vesting in about 5 – 7 minutes. Walking takes about  15 à 20 minutes over. Or you can take our shuttle bus (see below).

Do you arrive by car? Then parking is free on Bastion Nieuw Molen or on De Abri, from which you can reach the festival office within a few minutes. Parking in the city center is very limited, so we don’t recommend that.

Or take the bike when your living closer by.

Shuttle Bus

On every  Saturday and Sunday and on Ascension Day (Thursday 25 May) and the day after that (26 May) and Pentecost-Monday (5 June) a shuttle bus service will ride between NS-station Naarden-Bussum and the festival office. You can use this for € 2,50 (return ticket or € 1,50 single ticket) per person. The Shuttle leaves the NS Station every half hour, from 09.30 AM on. Returns from the Festival Office every half hour, from 1.45 PM on. Last ride leaves at 5.30 PM.
